Days of deadly flooding throughout Eastern Kentucky has killed 37 people and devastated several entire counties. Communities continue to experience flash flooding, landslides and mudslides with rain in the forecast for all of this week.
People and animals in Kentucky urgently need help. At the request of local authorities, IFAW’s Disaster Response team is on the ground in Kentucky to help local authorities and animal shelter partners there.
This lifesaving work is fueled by IFAW supporters like you. Here are a few examples of how your support could make a difference:
- $30 will feed a rescued cat or dog for one month
- $50 will treat & stabilize an injured cat or dog
- $100 will provide a Keeping Families Together kit so a displaced family can keep their pet with them
