There’s a threat to wildlife lurking in the bushes, ready to strike when animals least suspect it, in the places they feel the safest: the deadly snare. Snares are commonly used by poachers to trap and kill animals — but snares kill indiscriminately. Sometimes, they simply injure the animals who enter the trap, grabbing a leg, a paw, or even an elephant’s trunk.
Snares are cruel and inhumane. That’s why IFAW is dedicated to removing every snare we can and protecting wildlife—but we need your help. We’re aiming to raise $100,000 before our September 30, 2022 deadline. Make your donation today to help fund IFAW’s work to protect animals from snares and other dangers they face.
