Each year, millions of animals—many of which are endangered species—will be trafficked around the world. And for every three animals illegally traded, IFAW estimates that 10 will have died during the smuggling process. The animals that survive the terrifying journey face a miserable existence in captivity and will often suffer not only from self-inflicted injuries brought about by anxiety, stress, and depression but also physical abuse from their owners.
It’s tragic, and it has to stop! IFAW and our partners are on the frontlines working to put an end to wildlife crime, but we rely on the support of donors like you to fuel these efforts.
- £10 - could help provide a rescued animal with the food they need to survive.
- £50 - could help provide an injured animal with veterinary care.
- £100 - could help train officials to stop smugglers in their tracks and protect vulnerable animals.
With your invaluable support, we can care for animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade and protect them from cruel poachers. Together, we can make a difference for wildlife in danger around the world. Together, we can #StopWildlifeCrime.
Please consider making a monthly gift to protect pangolins, big cat cubs and other exploited wildlife all year round. Thank you.
